2016 Live Election Night Drinking Game!
November 8, 2016 – 7:00-11:00PM ET
For the past year and a half, we have been drinking to the candidates. Now it’s time to focus on the media. Rigged or not, we will be drinking to a different network each hour (from 7:00pm until 11:00pm Eastern) as the polls close in states from coast to coast.
The rules for the 2016 Election Day Drinking Game are simple.
Step One: Pick a Side
We will be drinking in two teams (it is a game after all) Each side has a list of words specific to them. There is also a list of community words (everyone drinks). If you are having a party, we recommend dividing into teams.
If you are drinking to Red Team:
- Enthusiasm
- Evan McMullin
- Must Win
- Billy Bush
- Working Class
- Rust Belt
If you are drinking to Blue Team:
- Ground Game
- Jill Stein
- Firewall
- Comey
- Hispanic
- Suburbs
Community Words (everyone drinks)
- Independants
- Gary Johnson
- Reagan
Step 2: Watch
Tune in starting at 7:00 (or when we will be drinking to your prefered network) and follow along with our real-time, live-streaming, drink-totaling, over-hyphenated, magic scoreboard.
Based on your votes, we will be drinking to the following networks:
- Hour 1 - 7:00 - 8:00 PM ET - MSNBC
- Hour 2 - 8:00 - 9:00 PM ET - ABC
- Hour 3 - 9:00 - 10:00 PM ET - Fox News
- Hour 4 - 10:00 - 11:00 PM ET - CNN
Step 3: Drink!
When you hear one of your team's words or one of the community words - take a drink*! We recommend something domestic - we are drinking for America after all.
*We define a drink as a gulp of beer or sip of wine or liquor. Know your limits and please drink responsibly.
